At CUCO Services, we provide the kind of resettlement support that feels both personal and powerful. Whether you’re stepping off the plane or still planning your journey, we help you set up the essentials from housing, healthcare, banking, education, and more. We speak your language (literally and culturally), breaking down complex systems so you can move forward with clarity, not confusion.
But our work goes deeper than logistics. We honour your story, your roots, and your future. With culturally grounded guidance and warm, real-world support, we make sure your first steps in Australia are steady, supported, and seen. Because everyone deserves to feel at home, not just housed.
Starting fresh can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. Our process is simple, supportive, and centred around you. Here’s how we help lay strong foundations from day one.
We begin with a warm conversation to understand your needs, goals, and story. This is where we listen, connect, and tailor support to fit you.
Next, we help you set up the essentials, like housing, Medicare, banking, and more. We make sure everything is in place for a confident start.
We stay by your side with ongoing guidance, tools, and check-ins to help you navigate life in Australia with clarity, care, and independence.
My name is Ashlie Skudder. I’m a proud afakasi woman of Samoan and Niuean descent, born in Aotearoa and now living on Wurundjeri Country in Naarm (Melbourne). I created CUCO Services because I’ve lived the experience of migration—not just once, but in many forms. From growing up between cultures and struggling with identity, to navigating the complex systems of resettlement in Australia, I know what it feels like to be lost in translation, overwhelmed by admin, and unseen in service spaces.
My journey into this work started with personal reclamation—reconnecting to my language, culture, and purpose. That healing led me to a career in settlement support, where I walked alongside countless migrants through their first steps in Australia. But I quickly realised there was a gap—mainstream services were often too cold, too transactional, too disconnected from our communities. CUCO was my answer to that gap.
CUCO means care. It means compassion. It means culturally grounded guidance that honours where you’ve come from and helps you build where you’re going. Whether it’s finding a home, securing work, navigating Medicare or tax systems, or just having someone explain things in a way that makes sense—we’re here. Not just as a service, but as your village.
CUCO Services is more than a business. It’s a bridge. A soft landing. A promise that you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
